Vector Solutions is seeking a Sales Trainer Lead that will ensure maximum effectiveness of the sales force by developing and implementing training programs. The ideal candidate will prepare new sales trainees by conducting orientation to sales process, design training programs, monitor and report effectiveness of training programs, and provide resources and assistance to traines and sales managers. 

Responsibilities

  • Assess needs and design quality sales training programs for onboarding new employees within budget limitations.
  • Oversee trainees during training period and report individual progress to sales managers.
  • Choose most appropriate training method(s) and oversee/implement training solutions.
  • Standardize sales onboarding for all sales roles including but not limited to: Sales Development Reps, Account Managers, and Inside Sales Reps
  • Utilize exemplary training and presentation skills to deliver content.
  • Partner with HR, Sales Managers and Product teams for successful onboarding proces
  • Communicate with sales management and provide custom training support, as needed.
  • Report and track sales training program effectiveness; maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
  • Stay up to date with sales training trends and employee development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related area.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales Training
  • Extensive knowledge of learning principles and modern sales training techniques
  • Proven background with content development and delivery 
  • Experience with learning management software
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication, training and presentation skills 
  • Strong organizational and team management skills
