The Digital & Ecommerce Marketing Manager will develop and execute digital marketing programs across various channels and have expertise leading marketing efforts for an eCommerce business. The ideal candidate for this position will be a results-driven team player with a proven track record for digital marketing best practices, an understanding of the latest trends, and dedicated to improved ROAS. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer in a fun, fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Digital & Ecommerce Marketing Manager will be a key contributor to the organization, helping to ensure our ecommerce solution is achieving our revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Experience running PPC, retargeting and display programs for an eCommerce platform
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, identify problems, outages, or downtimes that could impact transactional revenue.
  • Work within our marketing automation software, including contact management, list segmentation, email message creation, workflow creation and maintenance
  • Analyze data and campaigns results in Google Analytics to provide ongoing insights on web traffic and conversion metrics.
  • Maintain knowledge of ecommerce backend, feature integrations, products, and services while also recommending new products and enhancements to improve operational efficiency
  • Consistently search for innovation with ongoing site testing and expanding our digital footprint via advertising or other eCommerce solutions. Review existing and emerging technology and opportunities. Continually leverage new tools & industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with brand and other business leaders to obtain a full understanding of specific campaign goals, target audiences, messaging needs and promotional offers.
  • Develop marketing promotional assets, digital display advertising, sponsored social advertising, retargeting, paid search experience, from concept to web implementation, ensuring all advertising is within budget recommendations and drives expected ROI.
  • Manage a library of downloadable assets, landing pages to be used for lead generation purposes, promo codes, value statements and more. Make recommendation on use of assets based on results and analysis.
  • Keep track of digital spend and ensure budgets are met and streamlined. Support social media programs and understand tone of voice, reporting, and capture new social media opportunities to expand our brand and digital profile.
  • Create, forecast and maintain key digital metric reports and dashboards for traffic and acquisition, conversion, spend and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in driving scalable and sustainable growth in an ecommerce platform
  • In-depth experience working with an agency or directly managing Paid Search programs in Bing and Google.
  • Intermediate experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, marketing automation software
  • Exposure to using Salesforce or a comparable CRM solution
  • Proficient in digital marketing and ecommerce strategies and best practices
  • Social media planning and copy
  • An eye for “what good design looks like”
  • Flexible in attitude, a team player, takes direction well and able to work independently, shows initiative, willing to learn and able grow with the company
  • The digital world changes every day. The best ecommerce marketing managers take these changes in stride and update their marketing plans accordingly
  • Fanatical about producing error-free, high-quality work and well versed at reporting results
  • Excellent writing skills for creative marketing communications copywriting
  • Comfortable evaluating, recommending and supporting new programs or process enhancements to drive the business further
