The Digital & Ecommerce Marketing Manager will develop and execute digital marketing programs across various channels. The ideal candidate for this position will be a results-driven team player with a proven track record for digital marketing best practices, an understanding of the latest trends, and dedicated to improved ROAS. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketer in a fun, fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Digital & Ecommerce Marketing Manager will be a key contributor to the organization, helping to ensure our ecommerce solution is achieving our revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the digital marketing calendar, executing monthly campaigns to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the ecommerce platform, identify problems, outages, or downtimes that could impact transactional revenue.
  • Work within our marketing automation software, including contact management, list segmentation, email message creation, workflow creation and maintenance, lead scoring, lead capture and generation, landing page creation and strategy, and integration with our current CMS.
  • Analyze data and campaigns results in Google Analytics to provide ongoing insights.
  • Maintain knowledge of ecommerce backend, feature integrations, products, and services while also recommending new products and enhancements to improve operational efficiency
  • Consistently search for innovation with ongoing site testing (A/B testing, marketing automation) via existing and emerging technology and opportunities. Continually leverage new tools & industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with brand and other business leaders to obtain a full understanding of specific campaign goals, target audiences, messaging needs and promotional offers.
  • Develop marketing promotional assets, digital display advertising, sponsored social advertising, retargeting, paid search experience, from concept to web implementation, ensuring all advertising is within budget recommendations and drives expected ROI.
  • Manage a library of downloadable assets, landing pages to be used for lead generation purposes, promo codes, value statements and more. Make recommendation on use of assets based on results and analysis.
  • Keep track of digital spend and ensure budgets are met and streamlined. Support social media programs and understand tone of voice, reporting, and capture new social media opportunities to expand our brand and digital profile.
  • Create, forecast and maintain key digital metric reports and dashboards for traffic and acquisition, conversion, spend and revenue forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in email/digital marketing, or advertising
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project planning skills
  • Reliable and dependable with a self-starter attitude
  • Professional and positive demeanor in all interactions
  • Ability to adhere to or identify opportunities for new processes/procedures
  • Highly motivated and dedicated, creative, and unwavering attention to detail required
  • Evaluates obstacles to meeting deadlines, and communicates those risks in a timely manner

FUNCTIONAL AREA SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proven experience in driving scalable and sustainable growth in an ecommerce platform
  • Intermediate experience working with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, marketing automation software
  • Exposure to using Salesforce or a comparable CRM solution
  • Proficient in digital marketing and ecommerce strategies and best practices
  • Social media planning and copy
  • An eye for “what good design looks like”
  • Flexible in attitude, a team player, takes direction well and able to work independently, shows initiative, willing to learn and able grow with the company
  • The digital world changes every day. The best ecommerce marketing managers take these changes in stride and update their marketing plans accordingly
  • Fanatical about producing error-free, high-quality work and well versed at reporting results
  • Excellent writing skills for creative marketing communications copywriting
  • Comfortable evaluating, recommending and supporting new programs or process enhancements to drive the business further
