    The Director of Vendor Management will oversee vendor management activities across Vector Solutions. This leader will manage a small team of accounts payable and procurement professionals and will define and drive vendor management strategy as well as purchasing operations. This leader’s efforts will manage the company’s vendors throughout the lifecycle of their collaboration with Vector. The Director will report to the Company’s VP, Controller. In addition, this leader will be responsible for overall purchasing strategy and for identifying and evolving best practices and transforming the organization to improve Vendor and Purchasing Services. They will own all policies related to vendor management, purchasing, and T&E.


    • Lead and execute the enterprise vendor management processes in coordination with other subject matter expert and business area teams
    • Lead, provide training and guidance and monitor adherence with enterprise vendor management policies, procedures and tools
    • Negotiate a range of technology agreements from small software purchases to large vendor agreements with complex T's and C's
    • Maintain and continue leading development for purchasing and contract tools
    • Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities
    • Contribute to improvement and execution of the operating model, policies, procedures, governance and oversight programs, tools and resources
    • Manage Accounts Payable, purchasing, travel and entertainment processing
    • Supervises, trains and coaches staff members and ensures that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner
    • Prepares/reviews/analyzes ad-hoc reports as needed
    • Assist with acquisition integrations and vendor consolidation
    • Manage workload in a dynamic and fast paced environment


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related discipline required or equivalent work experience required.
    • 8+ years of experience in vendor management (with focus on IT, business operations, process improvement or related disciplines) and proven ability to execute cross function/division project implementations and/or new policies and standards into an existing organization is required.
    • 5+ years of vendor performance management, including assessing service level agreements, contract management, scorecard reporting and engaging business units.
    • Adept at identifying and proposing solutions to various business problems
    • Able to oversee large volume of transactions
    • Capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and written, with external customers and internal
    • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks (adapting to change where necessary) in a fast-paced environment
    • Track record of process improvement, systems/automation in prior roles
    • Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate with all levels of the organization
