    Vector Solutions is searching for passionate outbound sales professionals to join our team. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business by calling on senior management within Public Entities (i.e. Fire Chiefs/HR & Risk Managers/Police Chiefs) and selling SaaS based solutions for public entities with an emphasis on public safety.

    Responsibilities

    • Use existing relationships to grow business to new clients and current accounts
    • Networking using Sales 2.0 techniques to increase penetration for new accounts in a geographically defined territory
    • Conduct heavy phone prospecting, sales presentations, web-ex demonstrations and handle contract negotiations with minimum supervision
    • Achieve sales goals and be able to work independently
    • Collaborate with internal resources to drive larger sales and opportunities

    Qualifications

    • Professional sales experience selling to both high level decision makers and influencers
    • At least five (5) years of experience in business to business (B2B) sales (public entities preferred) 
    • A proven sales track record with a stable work history
    • Knowledge of public entities is desirable but not required
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Fun, entrepreneurial spirit
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
